Testing NanoVNA V2...
This weekend I make some test with NanoVNA V2, testing some filters and antennas. The results are more than very good. The idea is to understand how thw network analyzer works and specialy how is calibrated. Assisted with software (due the small size of screen) I manage to make some profiles to HF amateur bands and also for VHF and UHF helping me later to make my tests.
Im very exciting with this new toy...!!

SDRs mods, update, improvements...
Many friends around the globe tell me that "will be very difficult to be done on Rhodes island due to very tiny components and special skills that needed for this work".
Guys, the doctor it's in... And Im very happy that we have people like him on island. Mike Leventis he is an expert and first of all, a positive man.
He suprised with my hobby and he tell me stories about him and his friends. He make the job TOTALLY FREE and this is something that I can't forget.
Thanks dear Mike. Im proud of you and impressed about your skills...!!!

Remote SDR Server...
The idea....
The construction....
The final result...
The heart of remote server beats on a Raspberry Pi 4, 4GB RAM running Spyserver software and powered with POE (48v to 5V, 3A). Only one good quality FTP cable running to the roof giving LAN and power to the system.
LNA pull weak signals out of noise, combined with a Diamond X-200 for VHF-UHF, and a Windom 160m-6m covering the frequencies from 500 KHz to 1,7 GHz. The server is not public and it used for personal experimental use only by me.

RTL-SDR and preamplifier work....
Here it's the first block. A mini RTL-SDR (R-820T) into the same metal box with an 20db preamplifier. The preamp is powered from the same USB.
Here is the second combination. An RTL-SDR into the metal box and the preamplifier above...
Final setup. A blue thermal silicone it's under the RTL-SDR to spread the heat on metal box....
