Finally Internet.....(!)

After long time finally this weekend we make the wi-fi internet connection at my 2nd QTH (Istrios village) at South Rhodes...Unfortunately the Greek  Telephony Organization says that is unable to give us ADSL connection due to old wireless telephone linking that not allow the data passing over it. So we decide to move our line number to nearest village and get the ADSL there (limited to 2 MBps) and then to make a backbone linking at 5 GHZ to connect both places.  Then a small vertical at the highest point of the village on 2,4 GHZ is giving 90% coverage ...!!! The project was designed by me and two good HAM friends (SV5KJO and SV5KKU)  help to make it  true....Here is the fotos...

Now (finally) Internet is working on my 2nd QTH and will be easiest to have DX cluster connection and ....a full remote station.

That's will be my next project....

SV5BYR's new toy.....

After many years of success on 6m, 4m, 2m, 0.70m and have make all extreme modes as SAT, MS, EME etc... my favorite YAESU  FT-847 give its place to YAESU FT-2000....

The new radio is still ..."under exploring" and under full test in all bands and modes....

Im on daily operation the last 2 weeks specialy on 15m CW and RTTY...

More than 200 QSLs left my shack yesterday and about 60 is on the row to be sent...

Please dont' forget to put a SASE  !!!!

QSLs without IRC and SASE will be finished last than the others....

6m TEP opening this afternoon....

The very first QSO for this year on 6m comes via TEP with ZS6CCY. Great signal 59+10 here....
